The Willow Tree
This video was inspired entirely by it’s soundtrack, “The Willow Tree” by Chad Van Gaalen. My video is a study of how the brokendown and decrepit can be gorgeous and peaceful. This video aims to examine the mind’s curiosity and for the viewer to ask the question, “What happened here?”
The video was shot in Redwood Shores, CA. This city is my hometown and represents a land of contrasts. Everything in this video takes place on Radio Road, a street that spans 0.2 miles.
