The Century Council set out a proposal for a very difficult project, to create an anti-bionge drinking campaign. Myself and the rest of the UCLA Advertisement team (Adstract) decided that the traditional anti-drinking ads were far too unrealistic, and threatening. We knew that scare tactics were not something we wanted to use in our campaign.

Ad Team decided to make our Century Council proposal a positive campaign that would not say no drinking, but would say yes to control. We worked as a group to brand "control" as if it were a product such as an ipod or a purse. In order to do this, we knew we wanted to have some sort of icon. We did not want this icon to be a specific person, but rather "Simon." The idea of simon is based off of the childhood game we all know, and worked with our campaign in a way that made that "icon" we all felt our campaign needed everyone of us.

As creative director of the campaign, I oversaw all executed work, rebranded the century council, gave "control" an identity, conceptualized executions, designed the campaign's book, and assisted the design of the presentation.
