i'm rebecca a. shostak and a digital artist. i'm twenty years old and am currently studying design at ucla. i built this website for the sole purpose of showcasing my new artwork and offering prints for purchase. the website isn't a monumental design feat and it's not suppsoed to be. just enjoy the artwork.

my work is done almost entirely in adobe illustrator and i offer digital prints of every piece on this site at an astonishing 1440 dpi on the highest quality matte paper possible.

my work is inspired by organic environments and is generally characterized by aesthetics combined with a strong sense of motion and vibrance. i attempt to capture the natural beauty of the world and usually get caught somewhere in between the realms of design and fine art.

i don't want my work to be esoteric and hard for people to understand. i want to make things that anyone could find beauty in and react accordingly.
