Paranoid Profiler is a surveillance technology that that targets individuals based on their
overall RGB color (as seen b the camera). The system starts out with one color, gradually adding RGB values
over a period of time until anyone entering the space is targeted.
The piece by not placing it in a public and not gallery space hopes to recreate the actual fear and confusion such a device would create. Individuals would question why they are being targeted. Also it talks to our ability to give power to technology and accept its judgements as absolute. |
