Interactive
video installation.
Software: Moldeo
Estudio Abierto Centro 2006. Buenos Aires, November 16 - December 3,
2006.
Information
on the Internet.
In
this video installation from local
artist and photographer Ananké
Asseff,
Moldeo used a web camera to detect the motion of the spectators who
enter into the room where the installation was located. According to
the position of the
viewers, Moldeo
updated the video images that were projected onto the screen.
This
work was originally implemented
in 2005 by Ananké
Asseff
at the KHM Media Art Academy in Colony, Germany. At that time. the
programming was
done with the software for video and audio processing MAX/Jitter. In
this opportunity, Moldeo
allowed to replace the use of Max/Jitter by a free,
open source alternative, completely developed by local programmers.
The
installation worked continuously
during the 20 days that lasted the exhibit, which was visited by more
than 70 thousand people.
