I've always been interested in what data can be drawn from social media API's such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook etc. There seems to be a lot of potential in scraping the data that comes from these sources, because by analyzing the words people type or the type of pictures they post, a program could potentially understand how an individual feels or feels about a certain thing.
I'm particularly interested in creating programs that have agency, and seek to illicit a reaction. After creating a reaction the program would then analyze that reaction and craft a different aproach. This sort of simple AI is interesting to me because it allows the program to do the work of coming up with different way to look at or experiment with the data.
