The emergency stand to alert to the police when you are threntened. These stands are located quietly in many corners around UCLA and Westwood area. It is helpful for residents to know where these are located in case something horrible happens and they need help. (However, it seems like no one has ever pushed that red button for a long long time.)
You can bike around the neirborhood and on campus in any car and bike lens but, when walking up the stairway with bike, there is no way but lift up your own bike. Because the one and ONLY bike slide that looks more like a water way of UCLA campus is here, at the stairway behind Ackerman Student Union. None of the stairways on this campus has it. Hopefully, they will build more of this and put a sign to it.
water lines and hidden sprinkles are all around campus and Weyburn Terrace area to feed all the lovely bushes. It's good to know where they are and when they are operated to avoid having a wet pants and shoes while walking past them.
