ABOUT ME
Film and design allow me to understand what it is that drives me and appreciate it more. My work tells the stories about the life, people, and environments I feel passionate about. My work is a dynamic map to who I am. Whether I am a Director, DP, or designer, I am always putting my perspectives of life into my work. Theories of Kracauer inspire my filmmaking; the idea of capturing material reality and rendering it strange inspires me. I believe the main purpose of the camera is to both record and reveal physical reality. As a filmmaker, I aspire and look up to the works of Krzysztof Kieslowski and as a designer, I aspire to the works of Man Ray. Being a Design | Media Arts student at UCLA, my film background influences my design and my design background influences my films.
