PROJECT PROPOSAL For my portfolio, I would like to make a website that is clear and concise, but at the same time very design conscious. I feel like people need to brand themselves or have a style of their own that is unique to them. If designers don’t stand out, then they are just another number in a crowd. I agree that the presentation is just as important as the content; hence I am very aware of the power of display. I do not plan on doing anything too flashy or redundant because, I feel that my work can speak for itself. I plan on incorporating my diagonal lines and the color palette of tangerine orange and 35 percent grey. I like the simplicity and color balance of the two colors and the diagonal lines are just a simple configuration of lines. Simple animations such as button rollovers are interesting, but it won’t add anything to my work. The layout and the organization of the structure is what will ultimately outweigh anything. I plan on designing a site that shows a part of me to the world.
