Self Promotion is a site-specific interactive video installation which detects viewer's presence. As each viewer enters the installation, a virtual audience member is added to the projection, consisting of multiples of the artist himself. This audience applauds the viewer while they remain in the installation. When no viewers are present, the audience waits quietly. The piece counts up to nine viewers until it resets.
