APIs

I found Crime Data to be an interesting API because it allows you to get the most current and historical crime data around your neighborhood. It can be a very useful API in finding a secure place to live or just knowing the places of crime in your neighborhood better. It could be interesting to create a visual map of the places of crime from the past to the present in different areas of LA. I think one of the politics for this API would be privacy issues regarding how much crime information on the neighborhood can be publicly seen.
