WEEKLY : 2

Reading about derive reminded me of how I sometimes search the internet and end up on a site that is unexpected and different from the topic I started off with. These following links are an Internet derive that I created as I was looking through the web, starting off with a TED talk that my friend had linked me a few weeks ago. By looking through these links, one is able to follow my stream of thoughts. I first started watching the YouTube video “The Magic of Not Giving a F*ck”. Afterwards I wanted to look into more of the videos on the TED talk page so I clicked on the link in the description below the video. On the TEDx talk page I discovered the option “surprise me”, where the site chooses a random video depending on the time and type of talks the viewer has and is interested in. I ended up watching two more videos, the first called “From Death Row to Law Graduate” and the next “Why Your Worst Deeds Don’t Define You”.

  1. The Magic of Not Giving a F*ck
  2. TEDx Program Initiatives
  3. TEDx Surprise Me
  4. How I Earned a Law Diploma while on Death Row
  5. Why Your Worst Deeds Don't Define You
