I believe instagram has given a voice to small artists, who without this platform would have never risen to this level of recognition.
UGLY
Reasons I believe that this is the definition of ugly internet. As stated in the article the middle person is taken out of the equation on the internet and people are given to post whatever and whenever they like. This promotes the idea the quantity is better than quality. These images give the millions of followers unrealistic standards, that I don’t even believe they themselves are living up too. It promotes vanity, consumerism and unrealistic body standards. The posts in my opinion create an even further divide not only in vanity but economical as well.
