I have been making photographs with varying degrees of seriousness, obsession, and disenchantment since 1964.  It began as observation and notetaking, but I was soon taken with the expressive power of photographs themselves and the sensuality of black and white prints -  those things museums call gelatin silver.
The subject matter is varied.  If there is any thread tying it all together it is the desire to show things that have made this an exciting time to be alive.
