Thumb-Tacks
Greed is a piece that criticizes the fundamental of a Capitalist society. This sculpture might seem like a glittering luxurious gold object; But if you look closely, tacks are embedded into the heart and some tacks are stuck with the pointy edge heading outwards. The embedded tacks represents that the heart is already injured and the opposite tacks could potentially hurt someone else. I wanted to criticize the irony of Capitalism, by tackling the reality of people who were sacrificed by Greed.
