READY TO TEXT? is a performance piece, in collaboration with Welsey Chou, that addresses the themes of inclusion and technological dependence. In response to the prompt of witness, the performance engages the audience by giving them the power to control people via text message.

Audience members determine a location on a grid where a "player" must dance until the player receives a new text with a new location. The performance begins with two players, but escalates to include the audience as well. The goal is to include more and more of the audience until all others feel the desire or need to join in.
