ASTRONOMICA

FALL 2011

The first prototype for a pair of earrings from a collection of jewelry based on the forms and iconography of astronomy. Each jewelry piece is accompanied by a 3D animation of the item to show its form. The ARMILLA earrings were modelled in Autodesk MAYA after an armillary sphere. The earrings are 3D printed in durable plastic then painted with a gold finish.
