I chose to read "The Facebook Bully" by Joanne McNeil and "Is The Internet Good or Bad? Yes." by Zynep Tufekci. These made me think about the ways I communicate online and am observed and marketed to online. An online community that I belong to is the NPC Bikini Bodybuilding community. I belive it is a community because it is a group of people who share lifestyle, mindset, beliefs, and attitude. I think that because it is a niche commnuity it makes the digital experience for me really special. Some of my favorite bodybuilders include Emily Duncan and Taylor Chamberlain and I have found a lot of encouragement and support from them despite never meeting in person. I linked different tools and forums I use to connect to this community in a variety of ways.
