About OMA-
The Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) was
founded in London in 1975 with the aim of developing
contemporary architecture that responds to requirements
of contemporary society. OMA's ealry work consisted of
a number entries to competitions, which were statements
against the prevailing antimodern climate in architecture.

Known for both his books and his buildings, he has
authoredseveral seminal works in architectural
theory, including Delirious New York, and S,M,L,XL,
a collaboration with thegraphic designer Bruce Mau.
In 2000, he won the Pritzker Architecture Prize.
