Assignment 2  Getty

My model is based on the totem-like panel paintings in The Getty's furniture collection. They are similar to the six French painted panels from 1785. I created an animation of a panel growing from different sections of the totem. The animation was then projected onto a wall in the lobby of the Getty Center. As a 20 foot tall installation, it was no longer a painting, but rather a growing marble monument.
