soundsticker happening
(to accompany a theatre performance/show)
the audience of a theatre show is equipped with soundstickers including
recording devices.
everybody has the possibility to record 10 minutes of audio during the
performed show.
there are no restrictions on what is recorded, but it has to be recorded
by the end of the performance.
afterwards the soundstickers can be placed anywhere in the building by
everyone individually.
this can happen throughout the evening in the theatre space.
the evolving audio collage will be a spatial and temporal deconstruction
of the previous show.
like pieces of a shattered mirror, the soundstickers will be scattered
in the building displaying soundfragments in time.
(an event for 100
people would need 100 soundstickers.
if soundstickers could record once only and cost 4 § a piece, this
would work and be quite affordable.
it would be nice to have a lounge-sort of evening.
the audience, knowing about the social event, might not just record the
performance and comments on it, but also be enticed to record messages
on their soundsticker they would like to play later on.)
