Skyline Database Aesthetics. Spring 2004. A project done in collaboration with Laura Andrade and Jessica Morton. SKYLINE is an interactive map of Sunset Boulevard (Los Angeles) that lets the user draw their own version of the skyline along the road. By controlling the line with the left and right arrow keys of his/her keyboard, the user can travel along Sunset and SKYLINE will create a moving random composite of actual segments of skyline photocaptured from the boulevard. With the ability to manipulate the SKYLINE, the user can explore scenes and images from the Boulevard and create his/her own unique trip on Sunset! requirements: - flash plugin - high-speed internet connection (DSL) >> start Skyline.
