Computer graphics are routinely used to display complex molecules that otherwise would be very difficult to imagine. I implemented, using the graphical library OpenGL, a program to render the three dimensional structure of protein molecules. This program also had a simple GUI to ease its operation by the end users. It was called yapiew, and below there are some renderings produced by it.
